This may be a little silly,
But I have a question for you,
Will you be my valentine?
'Cause no one else will do...
I know you are my boyfriend
But will you be my valentine?
I can't think of anyone else
I'd want to have as mine...
No one else gives me the tingles
The way you always do,
So, will you be my valentine?
So I can share this with you...
No one has ever kissed me
And sent chills down my spine,
Until the night you kissed me,
So, please be my valentine...
Like I said this is silly,
But I have one last question for you...
If you agree to be my valentine,
Can I be yours too?

My valentine,
Why would I bring you chocolate when you are the treat.
My valentine,
Why would I bring you flowers when your smell is what’s sweet.
My valentine,
Why would I buy you a card when the words can be heard through me.
My valentine,
Why would I take you out some place when all I need is to see your face.
My valentine,
Why would I celebrate this on one special day,
When I can do it always.
You’re deserving of the box that represents your flavor,
You’re deserving of the pedals that represent the color of your beauty.
You’re deserving of the words that are laid out on folded paper,
You’re deserving of the trip to a dinner or a movie.
How can I say what I want expressed in every way,
You are my valentine and this is your everyday.

Could I be the only one
You hold dear to your heart

My Valentine
All I ever wanted was my Valentine
But I’ve yet to receive him still.
I guess he just isn’t meant to be mine.
But it’s hard to disguise how I feel.
I wanted my Valentine to love me
And handle me with tender loving care.
I thought he’d be here to hug me.
So this outcome left me unprepared.
My Valentine has ironically broken my heart.
The love I have is taken as a joke.
He uses me, then leaves me in the dark
And I’m left to somehow cope.
My Valentine is so special to me.
My childhood fondness grew into something deep.
But it is something that he refuses to see.
Therefore I excessively weep…
I wonder why my Valentine does me bad
Because I only want to give him my soul.
I keep thinking about things that I’ve never had.
He keeps taking full control.
My dear Valentine, do you not see
The pain that I am going through?
Sweet Valentine, since we’re not meant to be
Please let me get over you.

Valentine
Does everyone want a valentine?
Does everyone want to feel that love on that special day?
Does everyone feel a little selfish in their desires for love?
Does everyone want to feel that they are desired?
Does everyone want a valentine.
So that they can say. I love you my valentine I love you, I love you.
Hold me in your arms. I do not need a gift just your true love will get me through. Valentine, Valentine. Are you only mine?
